How to generate images for your posts

Last updated: January 29, 2026

Stanley can help you generate images to pair with your posts, making your content more engaging and visually compelling — even if you don’t have design experience!

You can generate images directly inside Stanley as part of your writing flow.

Start by asking for an image 🖼

When you’re drafting a post, simply tell Stanley you’d like an image to go with it.

You can say things like:

  • “Can you generate an image to match this post?”

  • “Create an image that fits the tone of this content.”

  • “I want a simple, clean image to go with this idea.”

Stanley will generate an image based on the context of your post.

Give direction for better results 🎯

If you have a specific vision, you can guide Stanley by sharing:

  • The mood (calm, bold, reflective, minimal, energetic)

  • The style (illustration, abstract, simple background)

  • The subject (person, object, landscape, concept)

  • Whether you want text included or not

💡 Example:
“Create a simple, professional image that would feel at home on LinkedIn — clean background, subtle tone.”

Refine the image if needed 🔄

Just like writing, images can be refined.

You can ask Stanley to:

  • Adjust the style or mood

  • Make it simpler or more expressive

  • Try a different visual angle

  • Regenerate with more or less detail

Treat it as a collaboration — you don’t need to get it perfect on the first try!

Pro tip: Images should support the post

The best images don’t overpower the writing — they complement it!
