How do I generate my first post?
Last updated: January 26, 2026
Getting started with Stanley is simple, and you don’t need to have everything perfectly figured out before you begin!
Follow the steps below to create your first post:
Step 1: Open Stanley
Log into your Stanley dashboard at stanley.stan.store and either start in What are We Creating Today, or select New Chat

Step 2: Share your context 🗣
Stanley works best when you give him a bit of background. You can include things like:
What you do or who you help
The topic you’d like to write about
Any stories or experiences you’d like to include
Your tone or style (for example: conversational, educational, bold, etc.)
Don’t worry about being perfect — you can refine things together.
Step 3: Let Stanley draft 📝
Once you’ve shared your input, Stanley will generate a draft for you. Think of this as a starting point, not a finished product.
Step 4: Collaborate and refine 👥
You can ask Stanley to:
Adjust tone or length
Rewrite sections
Improve the hook
Clarify ideas
Make it sound more like you
Feel free to push back or correct anything that doesn’t feel accurate — Stanley works best with feedback.
Step 5: Finalize and schedule ⏰
Once your post feels aligned, you can schedule it or publish it directly.
Pro tip: Treat Stanley like a writing partner ✍🏼
Stanley helps shape structure and storytelling, but you’re always in control of the facts and final voice! The more context you give, the better your posts will feel.
